Donegal gardaí are advising that a road traffic collision has taken place in Kerrykeel
A serious road traffic collision has taken place in Kerrykeel, and Donegal gardaí are advising that the road has been closed.
Motorist are advised to avoid the area.
Gardaí confirmed to Donegal Live that emergency services are at the scene of the collision which occurred at approximately 10.45am on Saturday, August 2.
"The road is closed," said the garda spokesperson.
"There is no further information available at this time."
Meanwhile, Donegal gardaí issued a brief statement on social media saying: "A road closure is in place at Main Street, Kerrykeel due to a serious road traffic collision.
"Diversions are in place. Please take an alternative route if possible."
