A teen's 390km walk from Arranmore to Dún Laoghaire lifeboat station raised over €2,000 for the Arranmore RNLI.
Taidhg Trocme, 18, took a week and a half to make the trek and the Arranmore RNLI were extremely proud of his support.
"Thanks to overwhelming community support for the Arranmore lifeboat Taidhg Trocme raised over €2,000 for the RNLI during his 11-day walk to Dublin," they posted.

"Taidhg would like to thank all who donated, people who greeted him on his journey, those who offered meals and a hot shower and especially those at RNLI Dun Laoghaire Lifeboat Station for the warm welcome as he arrived in Dublin."
The Arranmore lifeboat crew and fundraising volunteers were on hand to greet him from the ferry after his journey back from Dublin.
Taidhg is heading back to Dublin -on the bus this time - to study engineering at UCD so he will be closing the Just Giving page, Taidhg's walk for RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution, this weekend.
