Organisers said the decision was not taken lightly
The Mid West Donegal Vintage Club has announced that the Patrick Morgan Memorial Day Vintage Car and Tractor Run, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, in Creeslough, has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions predicted for the weekend.
Organisers said the decision was not taken lightly: “A lot of effort and planning goes into these events but we have to err on the side of caution,” explained Robert Robinson of the club.

The memorial event was due to be held in aid of Donegal Hospice and the Irish Heart Foundation, honouring the late Patrick Morgan, a much-loved member of the community and a familiar figure in vintage car circles. Known for his passion, friendship, and warm spirit, Patrick’s memory will now be celebrated at a later date.
The Vintage Club confirmed that the Patrick Morgan Memorial Day will be rescheduled as their opening show in 2026, ensuring the occasion will still go ahead in Patrick’s honour. Further updates will be shared closer to the time. For enquiries, contact Robert Robinson on 085-8123264.
