The Donegal Camino has raised over €115,000 this year for Cancer Care West
The Donegal Camino has surpassed a milestone of €115,000 in donations so far this year to support Cancer Care West.
Donegal Camino extended its thanks to “each and every walker, sponsor, partner and donator” as the fundraiser moves closer to its target of €150,000.
The fifth annual Donegal Camino took place from Sunday, August 31 to Saturday, September 6. The unique seven-day walk and hike takes walkers on a myriad of stunning loop walks and coastal trails on Donegal’s Wild Atlantic Way, starting at Shrove Beach in Inishowen and culminating at Sliabh Liag.
Now a flagship fundraiser for the Cancer Care West Support Centre in Letterkenny, the Donegal Camino has seen remarkable growth in both reputation and popularity. The 2024 Donegal Camino raised a record-breaking total of €122,145.30.
