Road reopens after lorry veers off Glenties–Frosses road

The lorry went off the Glenties-Fintown road in the area of Tullynaglaggan and the road was closed for several hours to facilitate the removal of the vehicle

The R262 road was closed for a time on Friday evening to facilitate the removal of a lorry,

The lorry went off the Glenties-Fintown road in the area of Tullynaglaggan.

The road was closed between Kilraine junction and Thower Junction and is expected to remain for several hours before being reopened.

Local access was facilitated during the time.

Councillor Brian Carr hailed the effort of the Glenties/Ardara Road section of Donegal County Council and those who worked to remove the lorry.
