Funeral of Annagry man who died after being found unresponsive set for tomorrow

The funeral of the man found in an unresponsive state at a house in Annagry on Monday will take place on Saturday.

Tommy Brennan (Pheadair Oig) will be laid to rest in Annagry following a funeral Mass on Saturday. 

His body was discovered in an unresponsive state at a residence in Loughanoran, Annagry on Monday, November 3.

Mr Brennan was rushed to hospital, but subsequently passed away on Tuesday night at Letterkenny University Hospital.

A post-mortem was conducted on Thursday by an assistant State Pathologist with An Garda Síochána saying they were “investigating all the circumstances” surrounding his death.

A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Live: “The post mortem has been completed, the results of which will not be released for operational reasons. 

“A file will now be prepared for the coroner.”

Predeceased by his mother Mary and siblings, his remains will repose at Roarty’s Funeral Home, Derrybeg this evening from 5.30-8pm with Rosary at 8pm.

“Missed by all who knew him,” Mr Brennan’s death notice says. 

Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, November 8 in St Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry at 11am with burial afterwards in the new graveyard, Annagry.
