The collision between a Bus Eireann coach and a car in County Fermanagh was a frightening and traumatic experience for those involved, including the passengers on the bus which was travelling from Donegal Town to Dublin at the time.

The mother of one passenger is keen to find a woman who assisted her 15-year-old daughter and other passengers so that she can personally thank her. This kind and helpful young woman is called Alannah. She lives in Dublin and her mother lives in Donegal Town, and is thought to be in her twenties. The mum reports that Alannah was really helpful and calming to the other passengers on the bus.

If Alannah is reading this, or if anyone can help by getting in touch with her, please email siobhan.mcnamara@donegallive.ie and the information will be passed on to the mum in question, who is personally known to this reporter.
