“A huge, heartfelt shoutout to Lee Gooch and Greg Hughes of Highland Radio, who led the cheque presentation ceremony with their usual flair. Not only did they help make the day so special, but they also raised €1,290 through their efforts. Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts. Your humour and kindness always raise spirits.

“We can't forget the amazing folks at Lizzie's Diner in Dunfanaghy, who so generously hosted us last night for a delicious meal, and prepared hot soup for over 200 freezing cold souls on the day.  Thank you for opening your doors and looking after all the community in the most welcoming manner.

“Huge thanks to The Shandon Hotel and Cocoon Mobile Sauna for their generous prizes for the Raffle. The raffle was a great success, and we'll be reaching out to the lucky winners very soon!

"To every single person who swam, cheered, donated, volunteered, or just showed up with a smile, you are the reason events like this happen. On a cold morning, you all brought so much warmth, connection, and hope. Doe Swimming Club, thank you. Truly, deeply, thank you for an incredible day.”
