Letterkenny was alive with colour, music, and community spirit this St. Patrick’s Day as people braved the rain and lined the streets for what proved to be a vibrant and memorable parade.
With the 2025 event postponed as a mark of respect following a tragic accident in the early hours that claimed the life of Anthony Gallagher, the event was back for the first time in two years.
Organised by Letterkenny Chamber, this year’s parade brought together a showcase of local businesses, community groups, schools, sports clubs, all celebrating Irish culture, creativity, and community pride.

We are also deeply grateful to TCS for sponsoring the stage and all of our sponsors, whose continued backing ensures the parade remains a highlight of the town’s calendar.
A special word of appreciation goes to every group and participant who took part in the parade. The effort, imagination, and energy on display created a truly festive atmosphere and delivered a fantastic experience for spectators of all ages.
