The main visitor guide for Inishowen is available again
Go Visit Inishowen has launched its visitor map guide for 2026 after the move to a new pocket-sized format proved popular with visitors.
Niall McCaughan, manager of Go Visit Inishowen said the organisation was delighted to announce that the main visitor guide for Inishowen is available again.
“The guide includes a listing of the majority of the tourism offer across the region including attractions, accommodation, tour guides, arts and crafts, travel, activities as well as eating and drinking,” he said.
“All these and more are individually highlighted on a large map of Inishowen, which uniquely also highlights car EV charging points, public toilets, play areas and much much more.

“Everything on the new guide is replicated on our website but in much more detail, and the addition of QR codes as well as Eircodes makes planning a visit to Inishowen so much easier and more pleasurable.
"Over the next few weeks, the 2026 Visitor Map Guide will be distributed to those who supported it, as well as other key locations like airports, visitors centres and the like."
Jaimee Louise, sales and marketing at the Inishowen Gateway Hotel stated: "It's great to see the new updated guide has been launched just before the tourist season properly kicks in. It’s the main guide that visitors to the region use, and we look forward to people using it to explore our beautiful Inishowen.”
The new guide is also available at the visitor centre in Buncrana to pick up.
