The body of a man was recovered near Arranmore on Saturday afternoon.
Gardaí in Donegal assisted the local coastguard in a search and recovery operation near Árainn Mhór, where the body of a male, aged in his 60s, was recovered on Saturday, April 11, shortly after 4pm.
"The body has since been removed to the mortuary in Letterkenny University Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place in due course," An Garda Siochán said. "Investigations are ongoing."
Foul play is not suspected at this time.
