Huge crowd expected at funeral of Donna Boyle (née Dunnion ) in Ardara

Those travelling to the funeral are advised to drive with caution

Donna Boyle (née Dunnion) was a much-loved wife, mother, daughter, sister and teacher

A large turnout of mourners is expected at the funeral of Donna Boyle (née Dunnion) in Ardara this Friday morning.

A beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, teacher, club and county footballer, and friend to many, there are a huge amount of people who wish to pay their respects and show their support for the Boyle and Dunnion families.

The Funeral will leave her home on Friday morning at 10.30am to The Church of The Holy Family, Ardara, for 11am Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Originally from Barnesmore, Donegal Town and a Four Masters club stalwart, Ms Boyle had been living in Kentucky, Ardara with her husband Brendan and children Eoghan and Aoibhin.

She was much loved and highly regarded in both communities, and in Frosses where she taught in the national school.

Her death after a long illness bravely borne has left a cloud of sadness across Donegal.

People are asked to use the town car park and to leave the church free for family.
