Extension approval for Dromore National School Killygordon

Dromore National School, Killygordon

The extension project for Dromore National School, Killygordon, has received approval to proceed to construction under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.

The project will consist of an SEN classroom and two SET rooms.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Donegal TD, Charlie McConalogue confirmed the news this afternoon.

"This is fantastic news for the school community and will improve the offering and services of the school.

"I thank Minister Norma Foley for confirming the news and for the work of the principal, the staff, students, and parents of the schools for progressing these projects."

He also paid tribute to Cllr Patrick McGowan for his continued hard work with the schools and the communities too.
