Cathaoirleach Donegal County Council, Cllr Jack Murray
Donegal County Council will hold its annual general meeting this year at 3pm on Monday, June 27
Outgoing cathaoirleach Cllr Jack Murray told Monday's meeting of the council that there had been discussions with the various party and groupings as well as at the council's Corporate Policy Group and what emerged was it was going to be difficult to get a date that suited everybody.
"We have agreed on June 27 and I apologise to anyone who can't make it but we're not going to get a date that suits all 37 members," he said.
