A retired Donegal Detective Garda is cycling around the west coast of Ireland for two local charities.
John Rooney is well on his way on his 700km non stop cycle from Clare to Ballyshannon in aid of North West STOP-Suicide Prevention and Bluestack Special Needs Foundation.
He is aiming to arrive home to Creevy Pier tonight.
John served within the Ballyshannon district for over 30 years. Well done John and safe travels!
