Man treated in hospital after assault by group of up to seven in Letterkenny
The man was treated for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening after the assault at Upper Main Street
A man has been treated in hospital after being assaulted by a group of up to seven males in Letterkenny.The assault occurred at Upper Main Street in the town at around 10.40pm on Monday.
Gardaí say a man was walking up the street when he is reported to have been assaulted by a group of six to seven males. He was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact Letterkenny garda station on 074-9167100 or the Garda confidential line on 1800 666 111. They are also appealing for dash-cam footage from the area taken around the time of the incident.
