The winning Skoda Fabia RS driven by Jason Mitchell and, inset, Paddy McCrudden
It was a weekend of celebrations for Paddy McCrudden, who celebrated a win in the Mayo Forest Rally on Saturday, a day before his birthday.
The Donegal Town navigator was on the notes for Jason Mitchell of Strabane as the pair took the win by 20 seconds from Andrew Purcell and Liam Brennan.
The Mayo Forest Rally was the fourth round of the 2025 Sligo Pallets Forest Rally Championship, with Mitchell leading the way in the Drivers standings and McCrudden top of the Navigators standings.

It was a third maximum score in as many events for the pair after Carlow and Tipperary, although they missed out on the Moonraker Forest Rally.
Celebrations continued into the Bank Holiday weekend for McCrudden, with his birthday on the Sunday.
