Donegal karting ace Jayden McElhinney has finished second in the Rotax Championship for 2025.
The Manorcunningham lad completed his season at Nutts Corner and has placed second in the overall standings.
A superb year concluded and McElhinney will now draw breath following a busy campaign.
At Nutts Corner, McElhinney was first in one heat and second in another.
Having started P12 on the grid for the final, McElhinney was first to take the chequered flag only for a five-second penalty to drop him a place.
However, the second-placed finish was enough to earn him the runners-up spot in the Championship.
Recently, at Whilton Mill in Northamptonshire in the final round of the Wera Tools British Karting Championship, McElhinney placed second in the final after qualifying in P5.
