Josh Moffett and Andy Hayes etched their names into the record books at the Clonakilty Park Hotel West Cork Rally after guiding the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 to a start-to-finish victory.

Monaghan native Moffett controlled the rally from the outset and never relinquished the lead on his way to a third career win in West Cork.

At the finish, he held a 9.9-second advantage over Derry’s Callum Devine, who was driving a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2. Devine claimed victory on the final stage to snatch second place from Kilkenny’s Eddie Doherty, finishing 5.3 seconds ahead of the similar Skoda.

Donegal driver David Kelly secured fourth place overall, while Declan Boyle also produced a strong showing to take sixth at the end of the rally.
