Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision which resulted in the death of a male pedestrian in his early 80s.
The collision occurred between the man and a HGV at Liberty Square in Thurles, Co Tipperary on Tuesday August 15 at approximately 2.45pm.
The pedestrian was taken to Limerick University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries, but has since passed away.
Gardaí are particularly appealing for any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) who were travelling in the area between 2.30pm and 3.30pm to make this footage available to Gardaí.

Investigations are ongoing.
