Former billionaire Seán Quinn will open up in candid Prime Time interview tonight

Controversial former business entrepreneur, Seán Quinn, is expected to open up in a candid interview on RTÉ Prime Time.

Presenter Miriam O'Callaghan will interview Quinn about his tumultuous career, his controversial new book and what he hopes to achieve through its publication, and the events that have shaped his life.

Airing tonight, the interview promises an unfiltered look into the mind of one of Ireland's most polarizing figures, covering a range of topics including Quinn's financial decisions and how greed played a role in his actions.

He will also recount the day he learned about Kevin Lunney's attack, his thoughts, and any actions he took to uncover the perpetrators, as well as his connections and interactions with individuals involved in the incident, namely Dublin Jimmy.

Speaking ahead of the programme, O’ Callaghan said, "The rise and dramatic fall of Seán Quinn, one of Ireland’s most successful self-made businessmen, is an extraordinary story of rags to riches and back again. We have covered it many times down the years on Prime Time, but yesterday was the first time I got to sit down with the man himself."

The interview airs tonight at 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
