A faulty electrical product popular as a Christmas present has been recalled due to a major safety concern.
Boots Retail (Ireland) Limited is carrying out a recall of the Satzuma Bluetooth Karaoke Microphone due to a fault with the USB charging wire, which may overheat and result in fire when in use.
The item code of the affected product is 55 79 341, the model number is BKM-101, the batch number is 01 F 23, and the barcode is 5055944706841.
Approximately 192 affected products were sold in the Republic of Ireland between September 2023 to January 2024.
Customers should stop using the charging wire included with the product and keep it out of the reach of children.
