In a TikTok video posted by UCC Talking Pictures, fans were delighted by an unexpected revelation from Paul Mescal's Normal People co-star, Daisy Edgar-Jones.
During the interaction, the Daisy accidentally let slip her 'love' for the Kildare-born actor, sending fans into an online frenzy.
The brief but candid moment was captured during a casual conversation in front of a loyal Normal People fanbase, giving them a glimpse into their off-screen relationship.
Daisy, while quick to retract loose-tongued remark, brushed off the commentary by adding "as a friend!"
The video quickly went viral, with fans expressing their excitement and thoughts in the comments.
"I can see his heart drop," wrote one fan on TikTok.
Another added: "Could’ve said fell in love with his acting or something but no straight up fell in love with Paul."
"Omg they will never live this down," said another shocked fan, before another said: "She saw her life flash before her eyes."
