A man in his 30s was airlifted to hospital yesterday following an industrial related accident in Longford yesterday.
A man was airlifted to hospital following a 'serious' work-related incident in Wexford earlier today.
The Gorey Guardian reported that the man, aged in his 40s, was airlifted by Air Corps 112 to Tallaght University hospital following a work related incident in north Wexford this morning.
The National Ambulance, a number of advanced paramedics as well as the Air Ambulance from Athlone attended the workplace incident which occurred at around 10:30am this morning.
The work related incident occurred at a pallet manufacturing site in Gorey. Ire Well Pallets (IWP) factory in Wells supplies timber pallets, boxes, crates and refurbished pallets.
The man had several injuries but they are not believed to be life-threatening and he is currently being treated in hospital.
