Boots, the old reliable for those last minute holiday essentials before boarding will no longer have a place in Terminal 1, Dublin Airport.
The popular beauty and health retailer's closure comes as its contract with Dublin airport has expired.
A spokesperson for Dublin airport has said in a statement that there were discussions about the prospect of Boots in Terminal 1 remaining open beyond the end of its current contract but an agreement could not be reached.

However, big plans for a "reconfiguration" of the remaining shops in the terminal will get underway shortly with "exciting" new additions to Terminal 1 set to be announced in the coming weeks.
The Boots store in Terminal 2 of the airport will continue to operate and is unaffected by the Terminal 1 store closure.
