Two lucky Irish EuroMillions players scooped up big wins in Friday night's draw.

A player in Dublin matched 5 numbers and one lucky star to bag a huge prize of €179,667, while a Cork player matched 5 numbers to win an impressive €55,988.

The lucky Cork player nabbed their ticket also on the day of the draw from Supervalu on Strand Street in Kanturk.

The National Lottery is urging all players in the Castleknock and Kanturk areas to check their tickets carefully and be sure to contact the National Lottery prize claims team if they have the winning tickets in order to collect their prize.

The winning numbers in Friday night's EuroMillions draw were:12, 27, 36, 37, 42 and the Lucky Stars were 6 and 7.

The National Lottery spokesperson, Emma Monaghan, said: "What an incredible night for our Irish players with not one, but two big wins in last night’s EuroMillions draw! Over 43,000 players in Ireland celebrated prizes in the EuroMillions and Plus games.

"We’re urging all our players in Castleknock and Kanturk to check their tickets carefully and get ready to claim these fantastic prizes!"

While there was no winner of last night's EuroMillions jackpot, next Tuesday's draw rolls over to a whopping estimated €60 million.
