Gardaí share last known movements in appeal to find missing boy in Limerick

A public appeal has been launched over a teenage boy missing from Limerick city.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16-year-old William Cogan, who was reported missing from Clare Street in the city on Friday, June 6, 2025.

William was last seen at approximately 3.30pm on Friday.

William is described as being 5 feet 11 inch in height, with slim build, black hair and brown eyes.

When last seen, William was wearing a light blue jacket and a black/grey tracksuit pants.

Anyone with information regarding William’s whereabouts is asked to contact Henry Street Garda Station at 061 212 400, the Garda Confidential Line at 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
