ALERT: Parents urged to keep toy 'out of reach of children' amid safety concerns
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) has issued a product recall on a popular Jumbo Balloon Pumper sold by The Works.
The product has been recalled due to presenting a risk of injury as there is no mechanism to prevent it becoming over-pressurised. The CCPC said: "An over-pressurised container could shatter, potentially leading to injuries such as cuts."
Parents have been urged to keep the Jumbo Balloon Pumper out of reach of children and to stop using the product.

The brand is 'The Works - Get Set Play!'. The impacted batch numbers are 178095 and 178100, and the barcode is 5052089331761.
The CCPC has advised that effected customers can return the product to any of The Works stores for a full refund.
