Learner driver caught speeding by gardaí also tests positive for cocaine
Gardaí in Kildare detected an unaccompanied learner driver speeding while driving under the influence of drugs over the weekend.
Naas Roads Policing Unit detected the driver travelling 93km/h in a 60km/h zone in Castlekealy, Caragh over the weekend during wet conditions.
Sharing the story on An Garda Síochána's social media, gardaí said that the driver also tested positive for cocaine once they were pulled over.

The driver was arrested for drug driving and the car has been seized.
The gardaí added that investigations are ongoing.
