Rachael Darragh reached the quarter-finals of the Estonian International.

The Raphoe woman was beaten by Estonian second seed Kristin Kuuba 21-16 21-14 in her last eight contest.

Darragh began with a 21-14 18-21 21-12 win over Judith Mair from Italy.

Darragh then put Azerbaijan's Keisha Fatimah Az Zahra to the sword to seal a place in the quarter-finals.

The Donegal ace triumphed 21-13 23-21 against Az Zahra to advance.

The journey was ended by Kuuba, but the competition represents further top experience for 2024 Olympic hopeful Darragh.

In the mixed doubles, Raphoe's Joshua Magee and his playing partner Moya Ryan lost out 22-2021-18 to Jacob Hede-Dahlgaard and Malena Norrman.

In the men's doubles, Magee and Paul Ryan were beaten 21-16 21-16 by Chia Weijie and Liew Xun.
