Letterkenny AC and Finn Valley AC finished inside the top ten at the European Club Cross Country Championships (ECCC) in Oropesa del Mar in Spain.
On Sunday morning, LAC's senior women finished 10th while the junior women from Finn Valley AC were eighth.
Letterkenny were without Ann-Marie McGlynn, who won the Raheny 5 Mile last weekend and who was fourh at the National Cross Country Championships in Rosapenna.
Nakita Burke was the first Letterkenny runner home. Burke's 29:50 saw her 24th.
Noeleen Scanlan (31:34) and Natasha Adams (31:44) were 44th and 47th while Shauna McGeehan finished 79th in 34:40.
Eimear McCarroll led Finn Valley home with a 13th-place finish. McCarroll was well in the hunt
with the top ten for much of the three laps
McCarroll finished in 20:11 with Amy Greene 24th (20:42), Sarah Bradley 35th (21:38) and Nuala Bose coming 60th (24:34).
Youghal AC from Cork were sixth overall, while the junior women's team title was taken by CA Atletic Mica Roma Blaj with Spaniard Mariam Benkert winning the individual gold.
In total, 399 athletes from 77 clubs across 22 countries battled it out at one of the longest-standing and most established cross country fixtures on the athletics calendar.
