Four athletes from ATU Donegal were in action at a TU graded meet on Saturday

Podium finishes for ATU Donegal in Athlone

Four ATU Donegal students medalled at a Technical Universities graded meet in Athlone on Saturday.

It was the first time for athletes to compete in ATU Donegal-branded kit.

Cranford AC woman Aoife Giles won both the women’s shot put and weight for distance events.

Giles PB’d in the weight for distance.

Katie Gibbons powered through the line to take victory in the women’s 800m.

Eoin McKenna was second in the men’s 800m after a strong run.

Niamh Moohan clocked a season’s best to finish second in the 60m hurdles.

Moohan followed up with a second-place finish in the 60m sprint.
