Conor Durning of Dunfanaghy Boxining Club ended a very successful year winning an Irish Title at Youth 2 57kg in the National Stadium in Dublin. 

Last week, Conor beat Jerry Connors, the Irish Campion from Monkstown Boxing Club in Dublin, in the semi-final 5-0 and then in the final he overcame Jack McNamee of Olympic Boxing Club, Mullingar, on a split decision 3-2

The six-foot featherweight had already won the Belfast Box Cup in October at the Ulster 9 County Championship and finished off the season with his 15th win in the All-Ireland final. Conor dedicated the win to his late Grandfather Michael Durning, a co-founder of Dunfanaghy Boxing Club, and an avid supporter for more than 40 years.
