Sommer Lecky and Kelly McGrory helped Ireland to promotion into Division 2 of the European Team Championships.
Competing in a competition that doubled up at the European Games in Poland, Ireland earned promotion from Division 3.
A day after Tir Chonaill AC woman McGrory took second in the 400m hurdles, Finn Valley AC's Lecky came third in the high jump on Thursday,
Lecky, a former Commonwealth Youth gold and European Under-20 silver medallist has had some injury trouble in recent months, but jumped a 1.74m best at the Slaski Stadium to finish in third.
Marija Vukovic won the event with a 1.87m best while Bosnia and Herzegovina's Sara Lucic finished second with a season's best-equalling 1.78m.
On Wednesday, McGrory finished in 58.08 second over the 400m.
Prior to the event, the main objective was to achieve promotion to Division 2 which was done in a comfortable fashion, with Ireland finishing nearly twenty points ahead of nearest challengers Austria.
Athletics Ireland High Performance Director Paul McNamara was delighted with the performance of his team.
He said: “We smashed it in the end. All the athletes delivered over the three days, but I think we had some really heroic performances today that pushed us across the line.”
