Danny Boyle claims points win at York Hall

Danny Boyle has his hand raised at York Hall.

Dungloe boxer Danny Boyle earned his second professional win on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old defeated Latvia journeyman Kristaps Zulgis in London to make it two from two in his fledgling pro career.

After four rounds, the west Donegal super-middle was given the nod by referee Kieran McCann at York Hall.

The Scottish-born Boyle fights out of Brentwood, Essex – the hometown of Matchroom boxing guru Eddie Hearn.

Boyle trains under former British and European kingpin Terry Dunstan at the Fort Galaxy Gym in London.

On his debut in November, Boyle overcame Robbie Chapman on points, also at York Hall.

Boyle was a two-time Irish Colleges champion for LyIT in 2018 and 2019, when he was boxing out of his native Dungloe Boxing Club.
