Ireland are competing in the ‘B’ Division of the FIBA Under-20 Women’s European Championships and overcame Greece last Friday before defeating Romania, the hosts, on Sunday.
In the 80-74 win over Greece, Kealy helped herself to six points and also weighed in with two defensive rebounds.
In a tense 67-64 win over Romania, Kealy contributed eight points. Her three defensive rebounds were every bit as vital here.
Kealy is ready to make a big move to the United States to link up with the Quinnipiac University women's basketball team. She will move to the Bobcats for the 2023-24 campaign and will have four years of eligibility.
Letterkenny man Andrew McGeever is the assistant coach with the Under-20s, working alongside head coach Karl Kilbride.
