Ryan Kelly will aim to keep the Clan Wars lightweight title in the Kelly household in October.
The Moville mixed martial artist faces Aaron Boyle as part of the Clan Wars 48 card, it has been confirmed.
‘Droop Diaz’ Kelly and Boyle will joust for the belt at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Belfast on October 1.
Kelly holds a 3-1 record and stopped Nicky Gordon in the opening round in May.
His brother, Bellator ace Darragh Kelly, won the vacant lightweight strap in June when he submitted Andre Ferreira at the end of the second round at Clan Wars 47.
Darragh Kelly will return to Bellator action on September 23, facing Jelle Zeegers at the 3Arena.
The following week, his brother will jostle for the Clan Wars belt.
The 19-year old Ryan stands at 6’ 1” and his win over Gordon got him back on track following a decision loss to James Slavin in March.
Last year, he defeated both Sander Raastad and Jacob Leonard.
Boyle is a 26-year-old who has a record of 5-4 and has lost his last two fights, the most recent of which in June he lost against Jake Gilpin.
