Katie-George Dunlevy won gold at the 2023 UCI and Para-Cycling World Championships on Thursday.
Dunlevy and Linda Kelly teamed up to win gold in the Women’s B Time Trial in Glasgow.
Dunlevy, whose father John is a native of Mountcharles, and Kelly finished in 37 minutes and 18.22 seconds.
Great Britain’s Sophie Unwin and Jenny Holl were second, over a minute behind the Irish duo.
Dunlevy and Kelly had 61.51 seconds of a winning margin while Sophie Anne Centis and Elise Delzenne of France were third.
Last Friday, Dunlevy and Eve McCrystal were bronze medal winners in the women’s tandem.
At the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics, Dunlevy and McCrystal won gold in the time trial and the road race.
They were reunited in Glasgow after missing the 2022 Para-cycling Track World Championships.
