Big-priced treble for Oisin Orr at Thirsk

Oisin Orr landed an 85/1 treble for Richard Fahey at Thirsk on Friday afternoon.

The Rathmullan man was on form with three winners.

Since 2022, Orr has been the stable jockey for the yard at Malton. He was the champion apprentice jockey in 2017 and is closing in on 50 winners for 2023.

Orr began by taking the 9/4 Sailthisshipalone to victory in the Division 1 race, winning by a head from Apiarist, the 11/8 favourite.

Orr doubled up on Silent Move, the 6/5 favourite having five lengths to spare.

On 11/1 chance Kittykarma, Orr added the Ray McLean Memorial Handicap to the sideboard, holding off pre-race favourite Prince Achille (3/1) by a head.
