The 2023 Knockalla Hill Club proved to be a roaring success on the famous stretch of Donegal tar.
It is an iconic setting in rallying circles across the globe and the sun shone down on Ballymastoker Bay for two days of rip-roaring action hosted by the Donegal Motor Club.
Thousands converged for the event, which acted as a round of Irish Hill Climb Championship.
The usual tranquil location was buzzing all weekend from the paddock right the way to the majestic top of the hill showing Knockalla in all its glory to all the competitors, marshals and spectators.
The overall winner on Saturday was David Kane in his blue speedcar, clocking 44.20 seconds.
Sunday’s overall winner was Brendan Flynn with a time of 44 seconds dead on run four in his megapin single-seater.

A new virtual chicane proved a real feature and provided a real point of debate for motorsport enthusiasts.
The Danny Gormley Memorial trophy, The John Leinster trophy and the Two Day Rally Challenge were all up for grabs.
Donegal’s Mac Walsh took the new Two Day Rally Challenge in a Ford Escort with Brian Gibbons in second in a Honda Civic and Michael Boyle in a Ford Escort in third.
