Oisín Ó Gailín set a new course record to win the Homecoming 5k in the United States on Saturday night.
The Finn Valley AC man, competing at 5,000ft elevation at Colorado State University.
Ó Gailín won in 14 minutes and 21 seconds - a new best time over the course.
Ó Gailín took victory from Thomas Rohr in second and Keagan Crosby in third.
The Ballybofey native is back Stateside, where he lowered the Donegal 5k record to 13:55.58 in April.
Earlier in the year, he set a new Donegal 3000m record of 7:57.22 at the Washington Husky Classic in Seattle.
In January, he became only the second Donegal athlete to run a sub four-minute mile, going 3:59.07 at the John Thomas Terrier Classic at Boston University.
Meanwhile, John McElhill of Finn Valley AC lowered his marathon personal best when clocking 2:34:31 in an impressive outing at the Amsterdam Marathon on Sunday morning.
