Shaun Kerrs takes novel Letterkenny AC Turkey Run victory

On a cool morning with still conditions, Letterkenny AC held its annual Turkey Trot 5k in aid of Letterkenny Foodbank. 

There was a great turnout for the race, which had a unique twist where competitors had to predict their time and run without a watch. The closest 10 won a prize. This year, the prizes were kindly sponsored by Gildea Butchers. 

Tir Chonaill AC's Shaun Kerrs was bang on with his prediction and actual finish time to take the first prize. 

Thanks to Divers Hyundai for the use of their showroom for the race HQ. Well done to all who raced in aid of a very worthy cause.
