A team of 25 boxers from Donegal will head west on Saturday-week to face a selection from the Olympic BC in Galway

A 25-strong Donegal boxing team will travel to Galway on Saturday-week, December 16, for a bumper tournament.

The Donegal team, under the direction of Donegal county coach Gerard Keaveney, will face a selection from Olympic Boxing Club.

The tournament takes place at Olympic BC’s base on Seamus Quirke Road.

The Donegal team includes Raphoe BC’s two-time Irish champion Taylor Parke and St Bridget’s, Clonmany man Conan Kearney, another former Irish champ.

Doors open at 2pm with entry for adults €10 and children €5.

The Donegal squad comprises: Nathan Lynch, Jack Anderson, Cathaoir Keenan, Cadin Keenan, Caoimhin Connolly, Joey O’Hora (Twin Towns); Darragh McGonigle, Ryan Glackin, Tyler McGonigle, Patrick McDaid, Fintan Robinson, Conan Kearney (St Bridget’s, Clonmany); Noah Quinn, Rocco McDaid, Kyrin Kelly, Kieran Cunningham (Carndonagh); Taylor Parke, Rian Patton, Gary McNamara, David Tennyson, Jack McElroy, Ryan McDaid,Tiernan Conwell (Raphoe); Kerry Brown (Convoy).
