The Donegal Motor Club will tonight select a base for the 2024 Donegal Harvest Rally.
Club members will also elected a Clerk of the Course for the event.
The Downings Bay Hotel and the Orchard Inn, Letterkenny, have been nominated as the host venues.
St Johnston man Sam Pearson and Letterkenny’s John Crumlish are the men in the running for the COC role.
Members will ballot when they convene for a meeting of the Donegal Motor Club in the Mount Errigal Hotel at 8.30pm.
Pearson was the COC of the 2018 Donegal Harvest Rally, which was based out of Jackson’s Hotel in Ballybofey while Crumlish is the secretary of the Donegal Motor Club.
Pearson is the COC attached to the bid of the Downings Bay Hotel with Crumlish the COC on the Orchard Inn submission.
