The Con Sean Darts Tournament takes place next weekend
The 2024 Con Sean Darts Tournament takes place next Saturday, January 27 in both Evelyn’s and The Sliabh Liag Bar, in Carrick, with the tournament starting at 4pm.
Registrations open from 2:30pm and you can also phone or text your entries to 086 9969256. There's a guaranteed €1,000 prize fund and entry is €10.
The defending champion, Gerard McGlynn, will be unable to defend the title as he's got a bigger occasion to attend as he, along with local thrower Andrew Gillespie and fellow Donegal teammates Adrian Butch Devine and Ciaran McGeady, represent Ireland at the Islands International Tournament in the Isle of Man that same weekend.
We wish them and the team the best of luck and it’s a testament to the standard of darts in the county that we have four players on the team.
But with such strong players missing it gives the opportunity for another thrower to lift the cup, which was first presented back in 1999.
