Triumph for Donegal darts teams in West Coast Challenge

Donegal were successful at the West Coast Challenge

The Donegal County A Darts team showcased exceptional skill and determination as they emerged victorious in the men's category at the West Coast Challenge over the weekend in Roscommon.  
 
Facing off against a formidable Limerick side in the final, the Donegal squad demonstrated their prowess to clinch a well-deserved triumph. 
 
In a closely contested event, the county B team exhibited commendable performance, reaching the quarter-finals before succumbing to a last-decider loss to Roscommon. 


Similarly, the county Development team showcased their talent, securing a spot in the semi-final of the Shield event. 
 
The Ladies event saw Donegal competing fiercely, reaching the Shield Final only to face defeat against Mayo in a closely contested match. 


 
In the Youth's Competition, the Donegal C and D teams both demonstrated their prowess by reaching the Semi Final of the main event, while the Donegal B team secured victory in the Shield event. 
 
The Men's Open Singles Competition witnessed a remarkable performance from Donegal's Dean Gallagher, who navigated through the competition to reach the final, ultimately succumbing to PDC player Dylan Slevin in a hard-fought battle. 


 
In the Ladies Open Singles Competition, youth player Aoife Porter emerged as a standout performer for Donegal, reaching the semi-final and showcasing immense talent. 
 
The Youths Open Singles Competition witnessed outstanding performances from Jack Porter and Jackson Timoney, representing Donegal with distinction as they both reached the semi-final, showcasing the depth of talent in the youth ranks.
