Con Sean winner Stephen Harron with Conor McShane

Stephen Harron is the Con Sean title for the second time with a commanding 6-0 win over 2019 champion John Menchia Gallagher in the final on a fantastic day of darts where he threw superb and was the deserving champion.

Overall it was a high standard of darts in both Evelyn’s and Ostan Sliabh Liag over the course of the event that was held on 27th January.

We matched last year’s record number of entries with 74 players throwing and it was great to see so many young players enter long may it continue.

Defeated semi-finalists were Declan Cunningham and Andrew Barron wo both just lost out in the deciding legs in both matches 5-4!, while the losing quarter finalists were Cartha Boyle, Declan Quinn, Irwin Muirhead and Joe Shovlin.

Best youth Michael O'Donnell

Thanks to Evelyn’s and Ostan Sliabh Liag Bars and staff for hosting, to our sponsors Heineken Ireland, LMC Fire Safety, Carrick Meats, Top Nets, Kelly’s Kitchen, Sliabh Liag Boat Trips, McLaughlin’s Bar, Secure Storage Letterkenny, John Kelly Painter and Decorator, Francis/Conor McShane and Joe Byrne who sponsored and to all the throwers who entered, to all who helped to mark and call games thanks for your help.

We had a few glitches with the marking boards in Ostan Sliabh Liag and having only seven boards caused delays, these issues will be resolved next year where we will have 8 board in play and the marking boards will be new.
