Conall Boomer’s American rugby adventure began on Saturday as the Chicago Hounds travelled to Utah Warriors in Major League Rugby. 

Wearing 20 and listed in the replacements, the Rosbeg man and former Ardara underage player and his teammates found themselves 14-10 down at the break. 

The host also held the upper hand at in the second stanza to run out 29-15 winners, in the end, at a chilly Ziona Banks Stadium. 

The Hounds’ next outing is Saturday, March 16, as they again go away from home, this time to Old Glory DC.
