World Down Syndrome Games swimmers from Donegal, Anna Hennessy and Eoin Rooney
Donegal swimmers Anna Hennessy and Eoin Rooney are set to represent Ireland at the 11th World Down Syndrome Swimming Championships today.
Letterkenny woman Anna and Ballyshannon’s Eoin are in Antalya, Turkey at the Muratpasa Municipality Swimming Pool until the 26th of March.
Anna and Eoin have been training under the watch of Sinead Donagher at the Finn Valley Leisure Centre during the summer months when they were a part of the Ireland team that took part in the European Swimming Championship in Italy last September.
The pair are both affiliated with Nemo Special Olympics Swim Club and IDSSO. Anna is also a member of Swilly Seals while Eoin is coached by his mum, Sinead.
