Taylor confirmed that the long-awaited rematch with Serrano has been scheduled for the 80,000-seat capacity AT&T Stadium, the home of the Dallas Cowboys, in Arlington. The two boxing pros will compete at 140lbs for Taylor's super-lightweight belts which she won last time out against Chantelle Cameron.
The event will be shown live worldwide on Netflix – a first for the streaming service. Those with subscriptions to Netflix will be able to watch without any additional purchases.
It will serve as the co-main event alongside the unusual match-up between vlogger-turned-boxer Jake Paul and boxing titan Mike Tyson, who is now 57 years old.
The women's match-up is is expected to be a more respectable event, as both boxers boast countless titles across a range of weight classes.
In April 2022 they made history as the first women to headline a pay-per-view card at a sold-out Madison Square Garden in Serrano's adopted hometown of New York.
